EXAMINER P.C. 90" censor label (part on front missing), interesting international airmail route and rate, fine. Photo
The rate for international airmail route no. 26 (China-HK-USA-England) had been raised from $5.65 to $5.90 on 1940.8.26. The
sender still paid the old rate of $5.65, plus international surface rate of $0.50 to make up the total of $6.15. This cover was underpaid
by $0.25 and had not been taxed by the post office.
